Prior to the call to pastoralship, Pastor Jackson served faithfully for 12 years under Dr. Bill Winston of Living Word Christian Center of Forest Park, IL. There he served in many different ministries as he answered the call into ministry by attending and graduating from the Living Word School of Ministry and becoming licensed and ordained by Dr. Winston.

Pastor Jackson is a member of Faith Ministries Alliance (FMA) under Dr. Bill Winston, as well as a member of the Association of Independent Ministries (A.I.M.) under Bishop I.V. Hilliard of New Light Christian Center of Houston, TX. In 2005, Pastor Jackson was also ordained under the pastorate of Bishop I.V. Hilliard and the New Light Christian Center ministry, where he also completed the Pastors Executive Training Institute program.

In addition to ministry training, Pastor Jackson has a B.A. in Mass Communications from the University of Illinois. He has traveled throughout Thailand, Tokyo and India working for World Vision under the leadership of Arnie Futoff, where he had opportunity to use media as a tool to educate people living in impoverished areas. He is also a graduate of Providence St. Mel, in Chicago, Illinois.

Pastor Joseph works as a Chaplain, for the Chicago Police Department, where he ministers to more than 12,000 police officers and their families as well.
